Our Intro to Bicycle Repair course is a great way to begin learning how to service and maintain your bike yourself or to brush up on rusty repair skills.  

The class meets weekly for four consecutive weeks, from 30. April to 21. May, 17.30-20.00 and consists of both lectures and hands-on learning.  You will be learning on your own bike.

Class 1: Brakes (30. Apr)
Class 2: Gear shifting (7. May)
Class 3: Wheel truing, ball bearing maintenance (14. May)
Class 4: Tire sizing, removal & installation, and fixing flats (21. May)

The registration fee is a sliding scale of 700-1000kr based on what you're able to afford. Current members receive a discount. By participating in the course, you will automatically become a member of the BIL for one year. See the membership page for more info.

Please note:
- We cannot accommodate e-bikes or other motorized bikes
- The registration will close when all 6 spots have been filled.
- If you have registered for the course and are no longer able to attend, please notify us at least two weeks before the start of the class. Unfortunately, late cancellations will not be eligible for a refund.

Flat Fixing

We also host one-off workshops on how to fix flats. These will be announced on our Facebook page as events.
