Introduction to Bike Repair - August 2026

Our Intro to Bicycle Repair course is a great way to begin learning how to service and maintain your bike yourself or to brush up on rusty repair skills.  

The class consists of both lectures and hands-on learning.  You will be learning on your own bike! Class will be as follows:

Class 1 - 10 August: Brakes
Class 2 - 17 August : Gear shifting
Class 3 - 24 August: Wheel truing, ball bearing maintenance
Class 4 - 31 August: Tire sizing, removal & installation, and fixing flats

The registration fee is a sliding scale of 800-1200kr based on what you're able to afford. Current members receive a discount. By participating in the course, you will automatically become a member of the BIL for one year. See the membership page for more info.

Please note:
- We cannot accommodate e-bikes or other motorized bikes
- The registration will close when all 6 spots have been filled.
- If you have registered for the course and are no longer able to attend, please notify us at least two weeks before the start of the class. Unfortunately, late cancellations will not be eligible for a refund.
